The Society issues an educational and informative newsletter 3 or 4 times year, and provides the ability to connect with other individuals who have the same or similar problems and questions through local support group meetings. As well, local support meetings frequently highlight knowledgeable Addison-related guest speakers. Donations above the cost of membership are tax deductible as the Canadian Addison Society is designated as a registered charitable organization under the Income Tax Act of Canada by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), # 87248 5511 RR0001.
